Anafi

The only settlement of the island, built amphitheatrically on a hill, in the ruins of the Venetian castle. The cobblestone streets, white houses with characteristic domes and picturesque windmills create an image of unique charm.
The beaches on the south side of Annafi are sandy and windless, so they are the most popular. Starting from the port we find them in the order: Kleissidi, Katsouni, Mikros and Megalos Poukounas, Katalimatssa, Megas Potamos and Monastery.

In the port, Chora, Roukouna and Kleissidi you will find rooms to let. You can also camp freely on the beaches of the island. In Chora and Kleissidi you will find picturesque taverns and a few bars.

Particularly important and local in style is the feast of Virgin Mary on September 8, in the monastery of Kalamiotissa, where spaghetti is offered and the monastery can be stayed overnight.
