Welcome to Folegandros!

Capital of the island, with small whitewashed houses with colorful wooden casks on the windows, nice squares and picturesque medieval castle district. On the one hand there are unlimited views and steep, steep cliffs and on the other the hill with the monastery of Panagia gives its mark. It is worth climbing the Palaiokastro hill, where relics of an ancient temple of Apollo are preserved, and visiting the Cathedral of Agios Nikolaos, Taxiarhos and the twin churches of Agios Catherine and Agios Antonios.
You will swim in the beaches of Agali and Agios Nikolaos. The North, Katergo, Abeli and Bardia are spectacular and relatively deserted beaches, by boat from Agali or Karavostasis. You can also go on foot – making sure you don’t miss the trail – with some difficulty in returning to the ascent.

There are small but luxurious hotels in Chora and a relatively small number of rooms to rent. The peak months (July-August) is a good time to book. For your nightlife you will choose between bars and wine bars that cater to all musical tastes.
