Delphi

Beautiful village, built in one of the most imposing landscapes of the country, with beauty almost metaphysical. And it could not be any different, since here the ancients chose to build the temple of Apollo, one of the largest sanctuaries of antiquity. The village is 25 km from Amfissa.
It is worth visiting the archaeological site, the Archaeological Museum, which in its 12 rooms houses important finds of excavations in the area – among them the marble copy of the “navel”, many important statues, the metaphors of the Athenian treasure and Delphi’s keeper – and the home of Angelos Sikelianos, who works as a museum. Sicilyan and his wife, Eve, worked to revive the Delphi idea.
