Distomo – Arachova – Antikyra

Area rich in history, located 23 km west of Livadia. It was the scene of the historic battle of the 1821 Revolution, starring George Karaiskakis and his men. During World War II, on July 10, 1944, the Germans executed 223 residents on the neighboring Canalas hill for resistance to conquerors and then burned the whole village. You will swim in the beautiful seaside settlement, Paralia, 11 km from Distomo and on the beach of Sarantis (7 km from Prodromos village) where you will find water sports equipment.
