Mylopotas Coast

Mylopotas Beach is the most popular beach in Ios and one of the best on the Greek islands. It regularly appears in polls as one of the “Ten best beaches in Europe”.

Awarded the Blue Flag, Mylopota beach is more than a kilometre long and very wide with lovely golden sand and crystal clear waters.

It is shaped like a horseshoe, with rocks on both sides. It is located about 2 kilometers south of the main village of Ios.

Manganese Coast

On the south side of the island, 23 kilometres from the centre, is the coast of Manganari. In fact, this amazing bay is divided into a sequence of five golden sandy bays with golden sand and above all shallow turquoise waters.

This location is ideal for swimming and sunbathing. In addition, water sports facilities are provided for endless hours of fun. Along the beach there are tavernas where you can taste both local cuisine and fresh fish. This magical location is worth a visit to relive scenes from “Endless Blue” in the place where they were filmed.

Yalos Beach

Gialos beach is located on the western side of the island of Lefkada, just north of Egremni beach.There are two roads that descend to the beach of Gialos (which merge along the way), one near the village of Dragano and one further down reaching Athani.There are two roads that descend to the beach of Gialos (which merge along the way), one near the village of Dragano and one further down reaching Athani.Near the beach there is a large parking area, while right next to it there are 2-3 cafes/bars with wooden balconies near the sandy beach.

Kalamos

Kalamos beach is a long sandy beach surrounded by rocks and crystal clear turquoise waters. It is not organized and access is relatively difficult as you will have to cross a dirt road. The beach has a very beautiful seabed which makes the area ideal for diving enthusiasts.
