Kandanos – Selinou

The Municipality of Kantanou-Selino is a municipality in the region of Crete, which was established under the Kallikratis Program by the merging of the former municipalities of East Selinos, Kantanos and Pelekanos. Its area is 369.06 km² and its population is 5,645 according to the 2011 census. Its headquarters are Paleochora and Kantanos is the historical center.
