Olympos

The whole village is a living folklore museum. The traditional architecture and interior design of the houses remains intact, as it was many decades ago. At the edge of the village the mills grind the grain of the inhabitants and each house has its own wood oven. The habits, customs, costumes and behavior of its inhabitants have changed little in recent centuries. The local dialect is incomprehensible to visitors due to its many Doric elements, something we rarely find in Greece.
