Trifylia

The municipality of Trifylia is a municipality in the Peloponnese region that was established with the Kallikratis Program by uniting the former municipalities of Aetos, Avlonos, Gargaliani, Kyparissia, Filiatra and the community of Tripylas. The area of the new Municipality is 612.1 sq. Km. and the population of 25,458 inhabitants according to the 2011 census, instead of 33,581 inhabitants of the 200 census. Kyparissia was the seat of the municipality. The municipality corresponds to most of the older Trifylia Province.
